I feel like technology is working against me this week. My instagram shut down, my phone broke along with my camera. So my bookstagram is going to be down for who knows how long... On a lighter note, I picked up the Bone Season the other day and I am very excited to read it. 

I really enjoyed this book. Throughout the the book my min kept flashing to The Tales of Earthsea and A Thousand Pieces of You. I loved how the main character wasn't supposed to be pretty, she felt very real to me. She suffered with boy image issues like a large portion of young girls in real life. I was very surprised by one of the characters, they had a really grown on me then BAM! Plot twist. I am very excited to pick up the second. 

I picked this book up in January. I had heard many great things about it, so naturally I was very excited when this showed up on my doorstep. But honestly, I was underwhelmed. The concept is great, but the novel was almost too detailed. It seemed to drag on and on. I ended up going on to a new book halfway through. I may pick it up again and give it a second chance in the future
